Sunsets.
There’s just something about them. They happen every day, 365 days of the year, and will keep happening until the world stops turning. Yet we human beings are strangely drawn to a sunset as if it’s the first time we’ve seen such a sight.
Sunsets evoke strong emotional responses within all of us, and are a great time for reflection, as another day ends and the night sets in.
Their beauty is undeniable, and those intense reds, pinks, oranges and purples leave a lasting impression long after the sun has set.
I’ve seen countless sunsets on my travels- some I’ve watched eagerly from famous ‘sunset spots’ like Oia in Santorini, whilst others have simply caught my attention on long drives down empty country roads.
Each one, and the feelings that accompanied it, is seared into my memory.
Here are some of my favourite pictures of sunsets from my adventures around the world:
Sunset in the Flinders Ranges, Australia
Sunset in Mykonos, Greece
Sunset in The Whitsundays, Australia
Sunset in Balangan, Bali
Sunset at Ayers Rock, Australia
Sunset in Santorini, Greece
Sunset in Rotorua, New Zealand
Sunset in Piran, Slovenia

Sunset from a Plane
Sunset in the Dominican Republic
Sunset in Paros, Greece
Sunset at a Gas Station Somewhere in Portugal

Wow, love these pics. That one from the Aussie Outback is gorgeous. I’m such a sucker for a good sunset. Wish I could get up in time for sunrise….
