How to Get from Salzburg to Ljubljana

To get from Salzburg to Ljubljana in Slovenia, catch the train from the main train station in Salzburg, Hauptbahnhof.

How long does the train take?

The train journey takes around 5 hours and we had to stop in Villach to change trains for Ljubljana.

How much does it cost?

In total the train cost 46,60 Euros for a standard class ticket.

We have cycled Germany / Austria many times. This year we have a meeting in Slovenia and want to take our bicycles. After the meeting we would like to cycle the Mur radweg. Any transportation suggestions are appreciated
