A friend of mine recently showed me his wicked list, a list of all things that he though were wicked enough to write down.
From now on I’ve decided that I’ll be making a Wicked List of every destination that I travel to. If you don’t have enough time to write a diary but you want to remember the best bits of your trip, just jot down a few words in a list of all things that are wicked!
Here’s my list from my summer in Lagos, Portugal
- Breakfasts in Odeon
- Chinese Shops and fancy dress themes
- Beer bongs in Monkeys topped off with absynthe
- Afternoon sessions and 1 euro pints in The Jam
- Steve Oo the dog with the underbite
- Mojitos on the beach
- Having Conversations outside Inside Out that I don’t remember
- Dancing on the bar in Monkeys
- Honey mustard chicken in The Diner

I totally stole this idea for my blog, but linked back to you : ) I love it, it’s like a point form journal.
Thanks Ashlea, it’s great isn’t it
If you don’t have time to write a journal it’s a great way of remembering all your favourite things from a place.
Hi Victoria,
I had been thinking about starting a blog for a long time but wasn’t sure what to write about but in January this year, I took the plunge and chose to blog about holidays. I really really like it. The main reason I’m commenting on this post though is that I was born and live in Lagos…Nigeria. Yes, the Portuguese came here centuries ago and named this city after one in their homeland. Have you been to my Lagos before?
I just ‘discovered’ your site today and I like it a lot. It makes me wish I could do the same thing. I love travelling and I go on holiday as often as my day job and funds allow
Hi Lape,
No I haven’t been to Lagos in Nigeria, and I didn’t know that your Lagos is named after the Portuguese Lagos, very interesting! thank you for the lovely comment, keep going with the blog, it’s very rewarding!
