After 6 months, Pommie Travels hits Singapore!

After 6 months, Pommie Travels is in Singapore and is rocking Little India! I’ve been staying in the heart of Little India in The Prince of Wales Hostel, which is a great Ozzie backpacker bar with free breakfast, clean dorms, a black and white dog mascot (I’m a sucker for hostel pets) and live bands on most nights. Take a step outside the hostel at night and the contrast is unbelievable; you’ll see hundreds and thousands of Indian men buying gold jewellery, shopping on the market for anything from fresh groceries to suitcases and holding hands. It’s also a great place to stuff your stomach with cheap, local Indian food. Visit Asia Web Direct for further information and on the region and great rates on Singapore Hotels.

About victoria

I'm a 20-something British girl from Manchester and have been traveling solo for the last three years. After graduating from university I decided there was more to life than the hours between 9 and 5, so I packed my journalism degree into my suitcase to travel the world and find a way to make money at the same time. I hope to inspire you to be your own boss, live life and travel the world.
